Every other weekend I'd hear stories from my friends and cousins working in corporate jobs someone's manager getting too close to a team member, late-night deliverables turning into something else, hushed gossip in the smoke area.
I'd always laugh and think, "Who the hell does that?" People have families, marriages, kids. Reputations that take years to build. I was 22, fresh out of engineering, newly joined in Pune, still figuring out how to survive on my own in a PG near Wakad. The idea of crossing any line like that felt stupid and far away.
